Earlier this year at NADA Show, NADA and the Center for Sustainable Energy (CSE) launched ElectrifiQ, an online electric vehicle (EV) sales training certification program for dealership staff.

In an effort to empower more dealership employees to confidently educate car shoppers about the intricacies of electric vehicle ownership, NADA, in collaboration with CSE and CNCDA, is offering their online electric vehicle (EV) sales training certification program at no charge for the first 500 California dealerships to enroll in ElectrifiQ.

This opportunity won’t last long and is only open to first 500 dealerships that register by Monday, July 1, 2024.

Why should my dealership use this tool?

Vehicle shopping options are always changing, and with multiple powertrain options to choose from, consumers are increasingly looking to dealership staff as the experts. Arming frontline employees with knowledge about EVs gives them the confidence to advise and support their customers. 

The 90-minute, self-paced course covers customers’ most pressing questions, such as:

• Will an EV meet my driving needs? 
• Can I install home charging?
• Will an EV save me money?
• Are there incentives available for an EV purchase?
• How long does it take to charge and how frequently will I need to do it? 
• What kind of maintenance does an EV require? 

The course also includes brand-agnostic demonstrations of EV walk-arounds and test drives. 

Dealerships with two certified employees will be included in the national ElectrifIQ network, where they can be found by customers looking for EV experts.
